Teefers!

Gray officially has all 4 front teeth in!
So... Teeth brushing time begins!
Thankfully he's quite good at it.

simple math

gray = good

gray + dada = better

gray + momma = better

gray + dada + momma = the best days of our lives

Googlie Sea

Gray has quite a few books... and by "quite" I mean hundreds.
We love to read in this family.
Just like all of us, G has his favorites and one of those is Googlie Sea. It is the most ridiculous idea. Take pics of real animals and then put googlie eyes on them... therefore terrifying shark simply becomes a lovable goofball. Chris has voices for the different sea creatures and G just eats it up.

In the end you find that there is a dog in the sea and he has made them go all googlie eyed because he doesn't belong. Love it! Classic? It is in the Hokanson household!

Day (not-as-good-as-momma's-but-will-have-to-do) Care

Today Little G went to Day Care for the first time and we both survived.
I didn't even cry. Promise.
Neither did Gray.

We snuggled and played when we got home because man did I miss that little goober.
Please note the cheerio stuck to his foot.... crazy kid. :)

Funny Story: G was quite easy to spot when I got there seeing as how he was the only white kid in his whole class. Three cheers to growing up in a diverse environment!

9 months looks a little something like this...

Tons of SMILES! No wonder he sleeps so well, he's exhausted from smiling and giggling so much.

READING books. Like Mother and Father, like son. G loves being read to and this one, Googlie Sea is one of his favorites. In fact I will do a whole post on it later.

Taking in the view in my STROLLER. As long as we're moving, he's fine. Stop, and all is lost.

PLAYING with toys. The noisier the better. Also knobs and those boingy things (official name) on the back of doors at the bottom. Doors: open, close, open, close. Who knew that could be so fun?

CHECK UPS with Dr. Lange.
20 lbs, 5 oz (47 %)
29.38 inches (84%)
18.5 inches Head Circumference (91%)
and...
a viral infection and ANOTHER double ear infection, hello again antibiotics

My FIRST HAIRCUT! July 18th, 2011, when Aunt Amanda made a surprise visit, Mom decided G was looking a little too Bieber-ish. Enter, clippers. One minor ear snip... I mean really, what's a first haircut without a little injury?

SOUND SLEEPER! Praise Jesus, thank the Lord! (and cry it out method) ;)
Although he's been a great sleeper for a while but it was clearly seen when he slept a straight 12 hours EVERY single night in Costa Rica. Way to go champ!
