Grandma had the blood transfusion and seems to be doing much better. Although her blood level went up slightly with the transfusion, as hoped, Dr. Rice may still want to do a round of chemo (as she has done in the past). She is enjoying her visitors and FINALLY getting to take a shower! We are all in high hopes that she will be released and home for this beautiful weekend we are supposedly going to have.
Granny is doing much better on her medicine. BUT, the most exciting news is that she has realized she is no longer allergic to chocolate. If you know my family at all, you know we all have a sweet tooth. (Granny's fault) She said that the chocolate just looked so tempting the other day that she was just going to go for it and suffer the consequences for a few scrumptious bites that she has been without for about 15 years. She ate it an nothing happened pain-wise. Needless to say, Granny is elated and at almost 98 years old she said she could care less about her figure. That's the attitude... bring on the deliciousness!
thank you Jesus for healing and chocolate and all the happiness that both of them bring! mmm mmm mmm

OOH A new blog to follow! (I'm semi-addicted, so expect me to check very, very often.)
I'm glad we came, it was lots of fun. I can honestly say this was my first encounter with an antique show, and there are more antiques in the world than I knew.
Happy antique week, hopefully you get some rest!
Becky
